It’s become the norm for me to do a good chunk of my mom’s shopping when it comes to all things beauty and fashion. Sure, she may pick up her usual drugstore eyeliner or grab a cute top on sale when she sees one, but I’m doing most of the heavy-lifting when it comes to introducing her to new products. Ever since I found out that Laura Geller’s Skin-Perfecting Spackle Primer was behind Fran Drescher’s poreless glow at the Golden Globes, I knew my mom had to try it, too. While the hydrating version was used on Drescher, my mom loves anything that’ll give her complexion a boost of color, so I’m opting for the original version with a shimmery champagne tint. One shopper said they “don’t even bother with putting on foundation” since it looks so good on its own.

I bought these White Mountain clogs for myself during Black Friday, and I should’ve foreseen that my mom would demand I get her a pair, too. The minute she came over and tried them on, she was obsessed. The clogs have a super comfy upper and footbed that make them just as easy to walk in as a sneaker. We both love the statement leopard print, but they come in solid shades like black and brown, too.
