Seabourn, the ultra-luxury cruise brand under Carnival Corporation, has announced the appointment of Mark Tamis as its new President, succeeding Natalya Leahy, who is leaving the company.
The leadership change is part of a broader executive reshuffle within Carnival Corporation, effective December 2, 2024.
Key Leadership Changes Across Carnival Corporation:
- Beth Bodensteiner, currently Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Holland America Line, has been promoted to President of Holland America Line. She will also oversee Seabourn, marking a significant leadership role in Carnival’s premium and ultra-luxury brands.
- Gus Antorcha, President of Holland America Line, has been named President of Princess Cruises, succeeding John Padgett, who will depart the company in February 2025.
- Mark Tamis, a seasoned executive with extensive experience in luxury cruising and hospitality, will take over as President of Seabourn, bringing more than 30 years of industry expertise.

Beth Bodensteiner
A 20-year veteran at Holland America Line, Bodensteiner has driven the cruise line’s success with innovative strategies targeting high-value guests, global sales, and integrated marketing initiatives. As President, she will oversee Holland America’s 11-ship fleet, which sails to over 450 ports in 110 countries.
“After advocating for this amazing company for 20 years, I am honored to step into this role. Together with my leadership team, I look forward to continuing to craft extraordinary travel experiences for our guests,” said Bodensteiner.
Mark Tamis
Tamis, with a career spanning luxury cruising and boutique hospitality, joins Seabourn after serving as Global President of Aimbridge Hospitality.
He has also held key roles at Royal Caribbean International and Carnival Cruise Line.
Tamis expressed his enthusiasm for leading Seabourn, stating: “The most rewarding work in my career has been in cruise.
