Thailand International Boat Show to Shine at Phuket Yacht Haven Marina in 2025

Thailand’s maritime industry is embracing the strategic decision to relocate the Thailand International Boat Show to Phuket Yacht Haven Marina, set for 2025. The event will feature over 50 boats displayed on the water, with more than 60 exhibitors confirmed onshore, alongside an expanded exhibition space totaling over 10,000 sqm. Scheduled for January 9–12, 2025, the four-day event will kick off with the Thailand Yachting Conference and a Show Gala Dinner, offering a dynamic B2B2C platform that brings together industry professionals while highlighting Thailand’s vibrant marine leisure market to both local and international audiences.

“The support we’ve received from the industry this year has been exceptional,” commented David
Hayes,
CEO of Thailand International Boat Show organisers JAND Events. “All the major brokers
and brands have confirmed in-the-water with sail and power boats from 24 to 120 feet confirmed to
display. We’ve also expanded the onshore exhibition zone to accommodate increased interest with
the air-conditioned area now 50% larger than last year, and it’s almost full.”

Simpson Marine to Showcase Premium Yacht Collection at Upcoming Show

Simpson Marine is set to impress visitors by showcasing the largest yacht at the event, the Sanlorenzo 90A. This stunning vessel will be accompanied by an elite lineup, including the Bluegame BGX63, Fairline Squadron 58, and Fairline Targa 45GT. Derani Yachts will also feature prominently with their selection of Axopar boats, including the 29 XC Cross Cabin and 37 XC Cross Cabin, alongside the Greenline 48 Fly.

Joining them on the water will be Boat Lagoon Yachting, presenting the Princess F65 and Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1095 Fly. Motor Field (Thailand) will showcase the Saxdor 400 GTO and 320 GTO, and introduce the brand-new YOT 36 at the event.

Primus Marine Leads with Largest Lineup

Newcomer Primus Marine, co-founded by Howard Prime and his Bangkok-based partner, is debuting with an impressive six-boat display. Their showcase includes two Aquila yachts and four models from the Beneteau range, marking the largest in-water lineup to date.

DCH Marine is bringing Sunseeker back to the spotlight with the Manhattan 56 and 68 yachts. Visitors can also explore Asia Marine’s sleek Nimbus T9, Capelli Stradivarius, and Galeon 500, while Asia Yachting will display the Prestige X60 and M48.

A unique addition to the 2025 event is the Exhibitors and Captain’s Lounge, which will also be hosted aboard the superyacht Free Bird.

Scheduled for 8 January 2025, the second Thailand Yachting Conference will take place at the Conference Center Hall at Splash Beach Resort, Phuket. The conference will bring together government officials and top industry experts to discuss key topics such as regulations, cruising grounds, infrastructure, superyachts, technology, and sustainability. The day will culminate in a Gala Dinner and an exciting kick-off party at the same venue.

Speaking of the venue and expectations for the 2025 show, Hayes added, “Phuket Yacht Haven
Marina is an excellent venue for not only the event but its location in the north of Phuket also
showcases the beauty of Phuket and Phang Nga Bay. Being near the airport and many five-star
hotels is convenient for visitors flying in for the show and with this better access and an increase in
products on display we expect to see visitor numbers grow, especially from High Net Worth
Individuals from across APAC and around Thailand.”

The third edition of the Thailand International Boat Show, a premier luxury lifestyle event, is scheduled for January 9-12, 2025, with the Thailand Yachting Conference and Gala Dinner to be held on January 8, 2025.
