Bradley Cooper is a devoted Air Jordan guy. He’s a noted fan of the Air Jordan 4 ‘Taupe Haze’ and often steps out in the elusive Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High OG. Back in March, though, the actor and filmmaker was spotted rocking a brand new pair of Louis Vuitton sneakers on the set of Is This Thing On?, his next directorial project. And judging by how they look almost three months later, it appears he’s barely taken them off since.
While out and about in New York City, the Maestro star pulled his Louis Vuitton Beverly Hills out for another spin. Inspired by skate shoes from the days of yore, they’re dripped out in calfskin leather and stamped with shiny gold branding across the tongue and sides. Down south, the sole is made from some very plush rubber, and, like all of LV’s other trainers, it’s crafted in the maison’s very prestigious factories in Italy.

Cooper’s pair looked like it was painted in a dark forest green. But would you believe us if we told you that these were originally black? He’s worn them so much over the past few weeks that the upper has literally changed color. The toebox was permanently wrinkled. The midsole was stained and worn out. The laces were frayed. Even the precious Louis Vuitton logos somehow rubbed off.
The same thing happened when Cooper copped the Riccardo Tisci x Nike Air Force 1 two years ago. Considered by many sneakers guys to be one of the holiest grails out there, he beat ’em up beyond recognition.
And isn’t that the highest compliment a sneakerhead can pay his shoes? Bradley Cooper could have kept his Louis Vuitton Beverly Hills in pristine condition, but instead, he’s thrashed them into a new colorway. Now that’s love.
