Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism and Cambodia Airports recently agreed to continue to promote cooperation in the tourism sector, making it more efficient and effective.

The parties came to an agreement during a working meeting between tourism minister Huot Hak and Cambodia Airports board director Emmanuel Menanteau on Thursday, 9th January.

Both involved parties agreed to continue promoting cooperation in the tourism sector in order to contribute to its growth.

The minister highlighted the government’s policy of considering tourism as a prime sector for development thanks to its significant contribution to the national economy.

Concurrently, the ministry is also communicating and encouraging the private sector in the tourism and aviation sectors to promote direct and charter flight connections between Cambodian destinations and other countries, regions, and cities overseas.
