CDS Groupe, the French leader in hotel booking and payment solutions for corporate clients and travel management companies (TMCs), has announced the strategic acquisition of SIAP, Italy’s premier ERP provider for the travel sector.

With over 40 years of experience in developing software solutions for TMCs, SIAP serves more than 1,000 clients across Italy, making it a significant addition to CDS Groupe’s portfolio.

This acquisition marks another key milestone in CDS Groupe’s mission to consolidate its leadership position in the European business travel solutions market.

Under the terms of the deal, SIAP will operate independently within the CDS Groupe structure, retaining its management team and brand identity. This move enhances CDS Groupe’s presence in Italy and strengthens its technological offerings, particularly in the areas of ERP solutions and travel management tools.

The acquisition also brings SIAP’s 90 employees into the CDS Groupe fold, raising the company’s total workforce to over 450 staff members across six European countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Croatia, and Romania.

With an annual hotel booking volume of €800 million, CDS Groupe is now positioned for further growth as it sets its sights on achieving €1 billion in annual hotel bookings within the next three years.

“This acquisition is a significant step in reinforcing our leadership in the business travel sector,” said Ziad Minkara, CEO of CDS Groupe.

“By integrating SIAP’s innovative ERP technologies and expertise in travel management, we are not only expanding our footprint in Italy but also enhancing our service offerings across Europe.

We are now on track to reach our €1 billion hotel booking volume goal by 2027, and this is just the beginning. We have plans for further acquisitions as we work to enter the Anglo-Saxon market and continue consolidating our position.”

SIAP’s flagship ERP software, including the advanced Methodica solution for TMCs and corporates, will be integrated into the CDS Groupe platform, expanding the company’s range of value-added services for business travelers.

The Methodica solution, which offers specialized tools for corporate travel management, will be rolled out across CDS Groupe’s entire network, improving its ability to deliver tailored, high-quality solutions to its growing base of clients.

Antonio Rosa, founder of SIAP, commented, “Joining forces with CDS Groupe gives us the opportunity to combine our deep local expertise with the Group’s extensive resources and reach. We are excited about the future and the new opportunities this partnership will bring to better serve our clients and enhance our position as a leader in European business travel solutions.”

This acquisition further cements CDS Groupe’s position as Europe’s leading provider of hotel booking and payment solutions for business travel, and sets the stage for continued growth and expansion in the global market.
