Like seemingly everyone else on the planet, I’m in awe of Demi Moore’s timeless elegance. In her most recent red carpet appearance, the 62-year-old proved, yet again, that beauty has no age in a gleaming Armani gown and romantic, loose curls.                                                                                                                                                                                                            

Moore’s stylist Dimitris Giannetos created the actor’s flowing hairstyle using a range of products from one of my favorite styling brands, Moroccanoil. Most notably, he employed the brand’s Root Boost Spray—which, true to its name, has a thickening effect on fine, flat hair, and boosts limp strands to bombshell heights. I can personally attest to the formula, which is my secret to elevating at-home blowouts to bouncy, polished perfection.

Once dry, my hair looks nearly twice as thick.

Similarly, Giannetos used the volumizing mousse as the foundation for Moore’s Oscars hair look; after towel-drying, he applied the foam throughout Moore’s strands, activating its plumping power with the Dyson’s Supersonic Hair Dryer and the brand’s straightener to create loose, flowing curls. Finally, Giannetos finished Moore’s style yet another of my Moroccanoil go-tos, the brand’s Luminous Hairspray, for a “lush and glamorous finish,” he said in a press release. The lightweight formula features a flexible hold, and locks waves and curls into place sans the stiff, telltale hairspray look or feel. Like the brand’s mousse, the hairspray boasts a shine-inducing effect that leaves my strands with a healthy sheen.
