Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines was honored as the Best Cruise Line for Groups at the 2024 Group Leisure and Travel Awards. The prestigious accolade was announced at a dazzling awards ceremony held in London yesterday, with magician and comedian Pete Firman hosting the event.

The winners were chosen by the readers of Group Leisure and Travel magazine, a leading publication for group travel organizers. These readers, who plan holidays, trips, and events for their groups, voted to recognize the excellence of Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines in catering to group travel needs.

Ellie Fulcher, Sales Manager for Groups and Affinity at Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“We are over the moon to have been named the Best Cruise Line for Groups in this year’s awards.

“As a team, we work closely with several group leaders and operators to curate the perfect holiday for their groups, right from the initial group booking process, their embarkation through to their on board experience, shore tours and return home.

“We would like to thank everyone who voted for this award; it means so much to us.

“We would also like to extend a huge thank you to our teams, both shoreside and shipside, who work with us to deliver our group cruises and ensure they have the best cruise experience possible on our fleet of smaller-sized ships.”

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines’ Sales Support Executive, Hayley Walker, was a finalist in the Excellence Award category.

Ellie added:

“We would also like to celebrate our colleague Hayley who always goes above and beyond in taking care of group bookings.

“She works tirelessly behind the scenes getting everything arranged before our guests embark and is very highly thought of by all of our group travel organisers.

“She always goes the extra mile to ensure our guests have the best time possible when sailing with us.”

Keeley Rodgers, Group Leisure and Travel editor, said:

“It has been another incredible year – huge congratulations to all of our winners and finalists who pay such an important role in creating a thriving group travel sector.”
