“By the time the sun comes up tomorrow… there’s a very good chance you’ll be dead.” Yep. HBO Original has unveiled the first full trailer for The Last of Us horror series Season 2, continuing on this April for streaming. This post-apocalyptic zombie series based on the hit video game originally launched on Max in early 2023 with the first season. After following their story surviving attacks from the Cordyceps infected, Season 2 will pick-up again with Joel & Ellie with 8 new episodes starting on April 13th. Five years after the events of the first season, they are drawn into conflict with each other and a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind. This next storyline also introduces a number of new characters, including a love interest for Ellie. Season 2 returning cast includes Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, and Rutina Wesley as Maria. Plus Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Merced as Dina, Young Mazino as Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Spencer Lord as Owen, Danny Ramirez as Manny, Jeffrey Wright as Isaac, with Catherine O’Hara. This is looking like they spent tons of money making this next season bigger & more emotional & more thrilling. Who’s in?
