Gisele Bündchen is in her motherhood era. According to an exclusive source at People, the soon-to-be mom of three is “truly thriving” ahead of welcoming her first child with boyfriend Joaquim Valente. Bündchen already has two children—a son Benjamin, 15, and a daughter, Vivian, 12—whom she shares with her ex-husband Tom Brady. 

“Gisele’s doing great,” the insider told the outlet. “She seems the happiest she’s ever been. She’s truly thriving.” They added that the baby “has been a happy surprise” for the former Victoria’s Secret model and Valente, adding that they “can’t wait” for his or her arrival. (The couple is waiting to find out the sex once the baby is born).  

As for Bündchen’s birth plan: “They are planning a home birth,” says the source.

Back in October, it was revealed that Bündchen was pregnant with her and her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend’s first child. At the time, a source told People that the pair “are happy for this new chapter in their life and they’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.” 

Earlier this week, Bündchen shared a rare glimpse at her growing baby bump while coincidentally sharing a video about finding happiness on Instagram. Dressed in a brown patterned bikini top and a leopard sarong, Bündchen sweetly cradled her pregnant belly while posing on a patio overlooking the beach at sunset. “Happiness is an inside job,” she wrote in the caption. “Remember, you are the only one who has the power to create the life you want to live.”

Bündchen and Joaquim first sparked dating rumors in November 2022 when the two visited Provincia de Puntarenas in Costa Rica with her two kids. The sighting came just one month after the model’s divorce from Brady, and by June 2023, Bündchen and Joaquim officially became a couple. “They have been dating since June,” a source previously shared with People. “They’re taking it slow. They started out as great friends first. She’s very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other.”
