Munich-based vacation rental company Holidu has acquired vacation rental booking platform Finca Mallorca.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Cologne, Germany-based Finca Mallorca, which was founded in 1994, marks an expansion of Holidu’s portfolio in the Mallorcan vacation rental market.

“Finca Mallorca is a strong brand with loyal customers and an exceptional portfolio,” said Johannes Siebers, co-founder and CEO of Holidu. “The platform offers some of the most beautiful and high-quality fincas [properties] in Mallorca. We are thrilled to include these exclusive properties in our portfolio.”

All listings will remain visible on Finca Mallorca’s site and now show on Holidu’s website and 27 partner websites.

The Holidu integration benefits hosts thanks to instant online bookability, management software and local support, including access to professional photoshoots, the companies said. The platform also offers a central booking calendar, payment processing and automated guest registration.

“Our hosts gain access to an innovative platform and a partner who knows the market and is present locally,” said Susanne Jachmich, managing director and founder of Finca Mallorca. “Through the partnership with Holidu, we can offer guests greater reliability and a much broader selection of rentals.”

Holidu opened its Mallorca office in 2016 and now manages approximately 3,000 rentals on the Balearic Islands. According to Siebers, Mallorca is one of the company’s “key markets.”

Last year, Holidu also acquired Germany-based vacation rental portal Ferienwohnungen.de and Clubrural, a company specializing in rural rentals in Spain and Portugal.
