International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by ASM Global, proudly announces the winners of its esteemed 2024 Extraordinaires Awards program. These exemplary team members were recognized across 11 distinct categories, including departmental awards.

This awards program aligns seamlessly with ICC Sydney’s corporate strategy, which emphasizes both cultural and business excellence. The Extraordinaires Awards provide an opportunity to celebrate outstanding service, fostering an environment where every team member feels valued, inspired, and empowered to exceed their potential.

Geoff Donaghy, CEO at ICC Sydney and Group Director – Convention Centres, ASM Global (APAC), said the awards recognised outstanding performance in the workplace and reflected the venue management team’s approach to create a culture of vibrancy, positivity and wellbeing.

Extraordinary Performances Shine at the 2024 ICC Sydney Extraordinaires Awards

The ICC Sydney Extraordinaires Awards were an unforgettable evening of celebration and entertainment. The KARI Singers delivered a heartwarming performance, singing John Farnham’s hit “That’s Freedom” in the Wiradjuri language, while singer, musician, and disability ambassador Lara Nakhle captivated the audience with a selection of contemporary ballads.

  • Service of Excellence: Holly Hayes, Senior Manager, Human Resources Shared Services, and Toni Mazzitelli, Customer Service
  • Innovation and Creativity: Leon Zhou, Business Analyst
  • Maree Edwards Award (Culture Hero for Workplace Safety, D&I, and CSR): Juan Aranda, Manager, Customer Services
  • Best Leading Role: Jack Crozier, Senior Audio Visual Technical Manager
  • A Star of the Future: Melissa Monasterio, Event Manager
  • Unsung Hero: Nina Tran, EA to Directors of Business Services & Culinary Services
