Host travel agency InteleTravel has acquired United Kingdom-based event ticketing platform Tickitto for an undisclosed amount.
Founded in late 2019, Tickitto provides access to tickets for major league sports, concerts, Formula 1, Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), local activities and more. The platform uses an API connection that allows businesses to integrate tickets sales into existing services.
According to InteleTravel, the new partnership will “enable InteleTravel’s network of advisors to book travel and accommodations around exclusive events and attractions to expand and improve the value of experience for customers.”

“Our analysis shows that one in 10 travel bookings are related to a live event, concert or sporting event, and these tickets are the center of thousands of additional dollars in spend,” said James Ferrara, CEO of InteleTravel. Ferrara said he believes consumer interest in planning travel around events, what he calls “eventcations,” will only increase this year.
“With Tickitto now under the InteleTravel umbrella, we can take advantage of our packaging ability through our supply partners, our technology and our tour operation, Major Travel, to offer more value and a richer experience to our customers and increase profits for our advisors and our companies,” he said.
Similar to global events agency MGME, which InteleTravel acquired in January 2024, and corporate travel alliance Hickory Global Partners, which it acquired in April 2023, Tickitto will continue to operate as an independent brand under the InteleTravel umbrella with CEO Dana Lattouf still at the helm.
“This acquisition helps InteleTravel companies offer more services and grow revenue,” Lattouf said.
“It directly helps Tickitto meet client demand by allowing us access to extensive resources we haven’t had previously, as well as increases our purchasing power and helps foster business with new ticketing suppliers.”
InteleTravel, founded in 1991, has a network of over 130,000 independent travel advisors in the United States, the U.K., the Caribbean and Mexico.
