Designers Lucie and Luke Meier took their final bow at Jil Sander’s Autumn/Winter 2025 show in Milan on Wednesday.
After nearly a decade at the helm, the husband and wife duo and the OTB-owned label “mutually decided” that the collection would be their last together, according to a statement from a Jil Sander spokesperson.
The designers helped differentiate and drive growth for Jil Sander with their minimalist, yet emotional aesthetic. The move comes after OTB named a new CEO, former Fendi chief executive Serge Brunschwig, in early February and amid a flurry of creative shake-ups in fashion.
Last week, Jil Sander parent OTB Group reported annual sales fell 4 percent year-over-year in 2024, with growth at Diesel and Maison Margiela offset by declines, particularly in wholesale, at Marni and Jil Sander.
