I’ve always loved the idea of eyelet (or broderie anglaise) tops for warm weather. The eyelet details allow for more airflow, and add texture and visual interest. But so many eyelet pieces just tend to skew too twee for me. 🍭 So when I saw this one, it was an immediate Add to Cart.

A relaxed linen eyelet shirt outfit

People: run, don’t walk. This linen eyelet shirt is SO good! The eyelet pattern is intricate, and seems to be very finely and well stitched. The fabric is a medium-weight linen, light enough to be breathable, but crisp enough to have some structure. (I suspect if you wash it, you may want to add a light spray starch when you iron to keep that crispness.)

This “deep chocolate” color is right up my alley, but it’s also available in white and lemon yellow. Sizes 00-24. (The full-outfit images show the color most accurately.) I think a darker or more vibrant color can help an eyelet piece look less juvenile. And a geometric eyelet design will also look more sophisticated.

Here you can see the eyelet details on the sleeve and cuff. I also love this freshwater pearl statement ring, which isn’t too fussy to wear with relaxed and casual outfits. And at just under $50, I think it’s reasonably priced.

The bag is also quite budget-friendly, and a fun summer accent.

I love wearing this shirt as a lightweight topper, but it also looks great worn on its own. And I’d definitely pack this one for summer travel!
