Rumer Willis is taking a look back at one of her first memories working alongside her mom Demi Moore. Moore’s eldest daughter made her on-screen debut in Striptease when she was just 7 years old, playing the on-screen daughter of her mom’s character, office-assistant-turned-stripper Erin Grant. Now an actress in her own right, Willis recalled some of her best memories from the set of 1996’s Striptease, including having some fun with her mom’s iconic costumes.

In a recent interview with People, Willis remembered being enchanted by the experience of co-starring alongside her mom. “I was just so enamored and kind of like, ‘What is this world? What’s going on here?” she shared. Revealing that she “loved every second” of filming, the House Bunny star also shared that she took advantage of Moore’s on-screen wardrobe to play dress up.

“I loved the costumes,” Willis—whose dad is Bruce Willis—said. “During lunch sometimes I would go try and put my mom’s shoes on and a feather boa and dance around the stage.” Despite the mature content in the film, Willis also said she was there for the filming of some of Striptease’s more risqué scenes, including when Moore danced at the strip club.

“I was like, oh, there’s all these ladies around me all the time,” the star shared, remembering being “delighted” by the scenes. Willis’s trip down memory lane comes just months after she re-wore her mom’s iconic gold sequined bikini from the film.

Despite her full-access experience on the set of Striptease, Willis said that Moore put up firm boundaries when it came to her starting an acting career at an early age. “I think if my mom had let me, I probably would’ve totally been a child actor,” Willis told the publication. “I’ve always loved acting.”

Rumer revealed that she’s keeping the Moore-Willis family tradition alive by bringing her own daughter Louetta, 2, along while filming her historical film Trail of Vengeance. “Louetta comes with me everywhere and she’s always on set with me,” she explained, adding, “It’s in my DNA, because I grew up this way… I was exposed to so many different people and so many different cultures and languages and just amazing artistry when I was a kid on set.”
