Launched on 10 December 2024, Motorola introduced the Moto G35 powered by the UNISOC T760 processor chipset. Samsung followed suit on 25 September 2024 with the Galaxy M15, sporting the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+. Both devices target the budget segment, but let’s dive into which one comes out on top in terms of performance.

The Moto G35 with its UNISOC T760 chipset scored an impressive 215,000 points on AnTuTu. In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy M15’s MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ likely scores higher, around 370,348 points, based on similar chipsets’ performance. The higher scores of the M15 is likely due to MediaTek’s more recent chip design and better multi-core performance optimization.

In 3DMark’s Sling Shot Extreme benchmark, the Moto G35 achieved a score of 1,200. The Galaxy M15 scored around 1,228 showing slight edge over the Moto G35.
The Moto G35 offers a smooth user experience with its 120Hz refresh rate display and clean Android 14 (upgradable to 15). The phone feels snappy performance in day-to-day tasks, with apps launching quickly and minimal lag when multitasking. When it comes to gaming, both devices hold their ground well in the budget segment. The Moto G35 can handle popular titles like Call of Duty Mobile and PUBG Mobile at medium settings with stable framerates. However, it struggles with more demanding games like Genshin Impact at high settings.
The Galaxy M15, powered by the Dimensity 6100+, offers slightly better gaming performance. It can run most popular mobile games smoothly at medium to high settings, with fewer frame drops in graphically intensive scenes. The MediaTek chip’s superior GPU gives it an edge in gaming scenarios, especially for titles optimized for MediaTek processors.
But What About Battery, Design & Cameras?
Both devices pack a punch in the battery department. The Moto G35 features a 5,000mAh battery that easily lasts a full day of heavy use, with 18W charging support. Its design stands out with a vegan leather back option, offering a premium feel. The 50MP main camera delivers good results in well-lit conditions, though it struggles a bit in low light.
The Galaxy M15 takes it up a notch with a massive 6,000mAh battery, with a 25W fast charger which overtakes the Moto G35. The camera setup, led by a 50MP main sensor, performs admirably in various lighting conditions, with the added versatility of an ultra-wide lens.
