Superb Trailer for Natasha Lyonne’s ‘Poker Face’ Season 2 Whodunit

“Look me in the eye and, uh, tell me that you didn’t kill her?” Peacock has revealed the trailer for Season 2 of Rian Johnson’s highly acclaimed, amusing mystery-of-the-week series Poker Face – starring Natasha Lyonne. The first season of this whodunit comedy series launched in 2023 – and Season 2 is now locked & loaded arriving this May. Johnson and Lyonne call this next season “a gonzo parade” of episodic murder mysteries with a visual style inspired by ‘70s American cinema and TV classics like Columbo and Quantum Leap. Each episode is its own world with its own tone, and yes, an unforgettable new batch of many weird, wonderful characters. Natasha Lyonne returns as Charlie, who has an “extraordinary ability” to determine when someone is lying – a “human lie detector,” as she is known. The truly massive ensemble cast of guest stars this time around includes Awkwafina, Corey Hawkins, Simon Rex, Method Man, John Mulaney, Ego Nwodim, Sam Richardson, Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann, Kumail Nanjiani, Sherry Cola, Kevin Corrigan, Ben Marshall, Cynthia Erivo, BJ Novak, Margo Martindale, Haley Joel Osment, John Cho, Justin Theroux, Alia Shawkat, Carol Kane, David Krumholtz, Melanie Lynskey, and many others.
