Aruba calls itself “one happy island” and for good reason. The beaches are beautiful, the weather is always spectacular, its culture is vibrant and welcoming and it sits just off the South American coast, keeping it out of the path of most hurricanes. The island currently receives a Level 1 (exercise normal precautions) travel advisory from the U.S. State Department.
