As a makeup maximalist with a propensity for running late, tinted moisturizer rarely suffices in the sweaty months. Unlike many tinted moisturizers, which tend to wear off throughout the day, Tarte’s is notably long-wearing. Expect a lit-from-within glow for up to 12 hours, per the brand—and a claim that checks out in my experience.

The ingredient list reads a bit like a smoothie recipe. For instance, it contains maracuja oil; extracted from its namesake plant, the ingredient is packed with glow-inducing fatty acids. And around 5p.m., I’ll slap another layer directly over top for fuller coverage prior to heading to social gatherings.
