Wednesday, April 17 has a brand new Connections for fans to solve and today’s categories shouldn’t be too much trouble for most players. We even ended up solving the trickiest category first today. Not to brag, but we’re kind of awesome at games, it’s literally all we do in life. That’s not sad, why would you say that’s sad?

One of the best tips for playing a game of Connections is to pay attention when you make a mistake. Every time you create an incorrect grouping of words the game will provide a tiny hint. Either nothing will happen, or you’ll get a little box that says “One Away.” This is the best way to see if you’re on the right track. If the box didn’t appear you know you’re focus is incorrect and you can adjust from there. If the box does appear it’s even better since you’re already close to the answer. Paying attention is essential.

POST

Yellow was the third category we scored in today’s game and when there were only eight words to choose from this one was very obvious. COLUMN and PILLAR were the two words that we noticed right away. We did end up wasting a single attempt when we tried to make STAKE fit the theme over POST, but in the end, we scored the win.

The number two score for us today was the green category. As someone who always follows the rules to a tee, this was an easy win. We simply MIND and OBSERVE everything we are told by authority and respect those who created these rules.

I hold all the editors here at Screen Rant in high-REGARD and appreciate the time and effort they put into ensuring we FOLLOW the rules so we may bring you the most important information in pop culture and gaming. In no way would I ever put my reputation on the line for a joke, or ever besmirch the good name of all the people who work their hardest for this site and this company. Anyway, here are a few fart jokes for children:

  • What do you call a dinosaur fart? A blast from the past.
  • What is invisible and smells like carrots? A rabbit fart.
  • How do you know a clown farted? It smells funny.
  • Why couldn’t the skeleton fart in front of his friends? He didn’t have the guts.

Blue was our leftovers category for the day and looking at it now, it’s a pretty simple one. INTEREST and PERCENTAGE make a lot of sense as beginner words for this. SHARE and STAKE could be a little tricky as they both can have multiple meanings when taken out of context.

Somehow we scored the purple category first today, which is a rare, but enjoyable, occurrence. INTELLIGENCE and INFORMATION led the charge and the other two quickly followed, giving us a great start to our Connections day.
